What is KarmaHub?

KarmaHub is a nonprofit-first ecosystem that connects Volunteers, Nonprofits, and Businesses in a new kind of economy — one where goodness is recognized, rewarded, and allowed to compound.

Every verified hour of volunteering at a KarmaHub Certified 501(c)(3) Nonprofit earns one Karma Token — worth around $10 in real discounts at partner businesses. Tokens can be spent, stacked, shared, or donated to others through the Karma Farm. Businesses pledge 1% of their revenue or profits into the ecosystem. Nonprofits receive the volunteers they need plus an annual cash donation from the KarmaHub Volunteers Fund.

At any KarmaHub Certified 501(c)(3) Nonprofit. Your hours are verified by the organization’s coordinator through the KarmaHub app.

You earn one Karma Token.

Worth around $10 in discounts at any KarmaHub Partner Business — flights, food, hotels, concerts, local shops, and more. Anchored to the minimum wage at the location of your event.

You decide what to do with it.

Spend it. Stack it for something bigger. Share it with a friend. Or donate it anonymously through the Karma Farm — KarmaHub’s crowdsourcing platform for collective good.

A Karma Token is a coupon — backed by verified service, not speculation. It cannot be bought, sold, or traded. The only way to earn one is to show up.

The Heart Star.

The symbol at the center of KarmaHub is 50 years old. Born in Toronto in the 1970s, the Heart Star spread to 35 countries and is today recognized as the logo of the UN Office of the Future. Its motto: Harmony through Understanding and Goodwill — or HUG, for short.
