Every verified hour you give at a KarmaHub Certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit earns you one Karma Token. Each token is worth around $10 in discounts at KarmaHub’s network of partner businesses — flights, food, hotels, concerts, local shops, and more.
No catches. No fees. No fine print. Just your time, recognized and returned.
How it will work — step by step.
KarmaHub is currently in its waitlist phase. Here’s a look at what your experience will look like when the platform launches.
1. Create your profile.
Sign up at karmahub.app and tell us a little about yourself — your interests, your availability, where you are. It’s free, and always will be.
2. Find your match.
KarmaHub will connect you with volunteer opportunities at certified nonprofits near you, matched to your skills and interests. Think of it as a smarter way to find the causes that actually fit your life.
3. Show up and give your time.
Attend your volunteering event. Your hours will be checked in and checked out by the nonprofit’s designated coordinator, who certifies your participation. Only verified hours generate Karma Tokens — because integrity matters here.
4. Earn your Karma Token.
Once your hours are verified, your Karma Token will be generated and added to your Karma Bank — your personal account of everything you’ve earned through your service. Tokens are anchored to the minimum wage at the location of your volunteering event.
5. Use it your way.
Redeem your tokens as discounts at any partner business. Stack them for bigger rewards. Or pass them on — to a friend, a family member, or a stranger who needs them more than you do right now. That choice will always be yours.
The Karma Farm — where giving goes further.
Here’s where it gets extraordinary.
Through the Karma Farm, you’ll be able to pool your tokens with others toward a shared goal. A group of friends can combine their hours to help someone fly home for the holidays. A community can rally behind a local cause and make something happen that none of them could have done alone.
You can even contribute anonymously. No spotlight required. Just the quiet knowledge that your hours made a real difference for someone real.

As you give more, your place in the KarmaHub community grows. Volunteers will earn recognition through a journey of levels — from Newbie Volunteer all the way to Karma Legend and HeartStar — reflecting not just the hours you’ve given, but the life you’re living.

A few things worth knowing.
- Karma Tokens expire one year after they’re generated — so use them, share them, or plant them in the Karma Farm. They’re meant to move, not sit.
- You cannot earn Karma Tokens by volunteering for an organization where you are a paid employee or director. The tokens are for the community — and that integrity matters to us.
- KarmaHub is completely free for volunteers. It always will be.
