Terms and Conditions for Waitlist Registration
These terms and conditions (“Agreement”) apply to the use of the waitlist registration platform provided by KarmaHub Volunteers Incorporate, a non-profit organization registered in the State of New Jersey, operating under the trade name KarmaHub (“KarmaHub”, “we”, “us”, “our”) through its website (“Website”). By using the Website, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to be bound by this Agreement, please do not use the Website.
Description of Service
1. The Website acts as a waitlist for future users of our platform to have early access to the platform, once it is developed. It is obligation-free, and there is no cost for volunteers, non-profits, and sponsor businesses to join the waitlist. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to the platform.
Eligibility
2. To use the Website, you must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction. You must provide accurate and complete information when registering for the waitlist.
Use of the Website
3. You may use the Website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with this Agreement. You agree not to use the Website:
- In any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local or international law or regulation.
- To engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the Website or the servers and networks connected to the Website.
- To impersonate any person or entity, or to falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
- To attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Website, or any systems or networks connected to the Website, by hacking, password “mining” or any other illegitimate means.
- To collect or store personal information about other Users.
- To use any device, software or routine that interferes with the proper working of the Website.
- To introduce any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, logic bombs or other harmful material that may damage the Website, our servers, or any other systems or networks connected to the Website.
Intellectual Property
4. The Website and its entire contents, features and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video and audio, and the design, selection and arrangement thereof), are owned by KarmaHub, and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other intellectual property laws.
Disclaimer of Warranties
5. The Website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. KarmaHub makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the Website or the information, content, materials, or products included on the Website. You expressly agree that your use of the Website is at your sole risk.
Limitation of Liability
6. KarmaHub will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of the Website, including, but not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental, punitive and consequential damages.
Indemnification
7. You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless KarmaHub, its officers, directors, employees, agents and third parties, for any claims, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Website, or your violation of this Agreement.
Modifications to the Agreement
8. We reserve the right to modify this Agreement at any time. Your continued use of the Website after such modifications will constitute your acknowledgement and acceptance of the modified Agreement.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
9. This Agreement and your use of the Website shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of aws. Any legal action or proceeding relating to your access to or use of the Website or this Agreement shall be instituted in a state or federal court in the State of New Jersey. You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of, and agree that venue is proper in, these courts in any such legal action or proceeding.
